If you want to copy both sides on a single page, you may have to follow instructions similar to this: Scan both sides of an ID card and print them on the same side of a page using the ID Copy function on your printer.
Lift the scanner lid then place the ID card in the left-rear corner of the scanner glass, with at least one-quarter of an inch of space between the edges of the card, and the edges of the scanner.
Close the scanner lid, and then touch Copy on the printer control panel. Press on ID Copy, and then Start Copy With one side of the ID card scanned, lift the scanner lid. Turn the ID card over and place it in a different location than where it was placed for the first scan.
Close the scanner lid, Press OK followed by pressing Done. With the scan complete, both sides of the ID card print on a single side of a page.
If your printer has a dedicated ID Copy function you may follow instructions similar to this: Copy ID cards directly from the printer control panel on some office and home printers.
Lift the scanner lid, and then place the ID card you want to copy in the left-rear corner of the scanner glass, with at least one inch of space between the edges of the card and the edges of the scanner. Close the scanner lid, and then press the ID Copy button.
The first side of the ID card scans may be indicated by a blinking light or displayed on the screen if your printer has one. With the first side of the ID card scanned, a Warning icon on the printer control panel may blink. Lift the scanner lid, and then turn the ID card over and place it below where it was originally placed when scanning the first side.
Close the scanner lid, and then press the ID Copy button again. The second side of the ID card scans, and then prints both sides of the card on a single side of a page. The printer will return to ready status and can be used as normal.
